A woman in her mid-70s, walking briskly, nearly catches an overweight man as he runs on the indoor track at Premier Health and Fitness Center in Tallahassee. The man managed to stay ahead and complete 13 laps for the first time. Thirteen laps on the inside track make one mile.

The woman who walks fast is an inspiration to men.

While he only wishes the women and gym mates all the best in their pursuit of self-improvement, he admits he also enjoys seeing other fitness members plodding along the track – an observation that the usually supportive wife of a man takes skepticism.
