The Weeknd was forced to end its sold-out concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles after losing his voice – only three songs were featured.

The four-time Grammy winner suddenly stopped singing midway through his hit “Can’t Feel My Face” and walked off the stage.

Weekend, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, then walked back on stage as another song started and stopped the show, telling fans that he had lost his voice and couldn’t finish the show.

Disappointed fans filled the roughly 70,000-seat stadium with their boos.

“You’ll get your money back,” he assured the disillusioned audience. “But I’ll be putting on a show soon for you guys.”

The Weeknd performed at SoFi the night before on September 2, 2022.

Before leaving the stage, the singer took a moment to entertain the audience.

“You know how much this is killing me now. I am sorry. I love you so much.” He said before making his final exit with cheers.

The Weeknd played the final show of back-to-back shows at SoFi Stadium as part of the “After Hours Til Dawn Tour.” She has postponed the tour last year in an attempt to perform at stadium venues across the country.

The “The Hills” singer later took to social media to double down on her apologies for leaving the show so early.

“My voice came out during the first song and I was devastated. Felt it gone and my heart fell. I apologize profusely to my fans here. I promise to make up for it with you with a new date.” The singer posted to Twitter.

It’s unclear what the condition of the critically acclaimed singer’s vocal problems was, but when he addressed the crowd, there was a hoarse voice.

The Weeknd is scheduled to perform in Toronto on September 22 and September 23according to the singer’s website.
