Is it romance or is it a hoax?
A source close to Yung Gravy told Page Six that they believe the celebrity rapper romance with Addison Rae’s motherSheri Nicole Easterling, nothing more than “viral bait”.
“This is a PR relationship. It was kissing, but it wasn’t real,” the source claims.
They went on to say that Yung Gravy, 26, usually goes for “young blonde girls like Tana Mongeau,” adding, “I don’t think he only lusts after older women in real life. That is only [not] real.”
The insider further alleged that Yung Gravy – born Matthew Raymond Hauri – was actually talking to a 25-year-old blonde female friend of theirs via Instagram.
On the red carpet, Yung Gravy told Page Six that the two had met on “the internet” and “FaceTimed” several times before meeting in person.
“I hit him first. I know about him, and I think he is doing well,” she said.
However, the source tells us that Easterling may have other reasons why she started dating Gravy.
The source alluded to it because of Lopez’s allegations affair with Renée Ash. 25 years oldEasterling “would find the hottest boy—and it would be Pete Davidson if he could get one, but the best case scenario would be Yung Gravy.”
Representatives for Gravy and Easterling did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Page Six.
After a PDA-filled night, Gravy took to social media to defend Easterling of all the internet hate.
“He is just single and living his life. leave him alone lol,” the musician write on Twitter in response to a video of him kissing his new girlfriend on the red carpet.
However, Rae didn’t feel the same way. A source told Page Six on Tuesday that TikTok star “shame” by the drama his parents were involved in.
“Addison has seen her parents go through a lot of ups and downs over the years, but everything that’s going on right now has been incredible for her,” the source shared.
