Four people died after Sunday night’s crash in Rollinsford, police said. The Rollinsford Police Department said they were responding to an accident on Portland Avenue near Toll Road at 8:30 p.m. Police said a 2014 Subaru Forester crossed into traffic and hit a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. The Rollinsford Fire Department said the Subaru was driving at more than 100 miles per hour and caught fire when it crashed. The man who was driving the Subaru died at the scene. There was no one else in the car. All three men at Dodge died in the crash. One passenger died on the spot. The driver and other passengers died in hospital. Rollinsford Police said the people in the van were Peter Ronchi, 58, Gavin Sorge Jr., 22, and Sean Kamszik, 23, all from South Berwick, Maine. Firefighters said it took 20 minutes for some departments to remove the three victims from the Dodge van. An autopsy will be performed tomorrow on one of the passengers to see if his death was caused by an accident or a car fire. The cause of death will determine whether the New Hampshire Fire Marshal or the police will take over the investigation. Police said they had not released the identity of the Subaru driver when they notified his family. Seven people have died in car crashes since Thursday.
