The brand new 2022 summer season health development will rock Joburg

“Whether you are 3 years old or 93 years old, it is safe to do. You can enjoy it from the comfort of your own home, it’s low impact. So you get all the results unscathed without the pain, it’s great to tick all those boxes.” Raleigh said.

JOHANNESBURG – Lisa Raleigh, a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach and life coach, with more than 20 years of experience in the fitness industry says she has yet to find an inclusive exercise modality.

“Whether you are three years old or 93 years old, it is safe to do. You can enjoy it from the comfort of your own home, it’s low impact. So you get all the results without any injuries without any pain. It’s great to tick all those boxes,” said Raleigh.

Rebounding is a form of aerobic exercise performed while jumping on a mini trampoline.

Raleigh points out that exercise helps with a variety of fitness goals such as cardiovascular, muscle building and toning, as well as increasing metabolism among a long list of health benefits.

Raleigh has a passion for health and part of what attracts him to rebounding is the fun factor it provides.

“Everyone accepted it and the smile started from the moment they got up to the moment they finished. I promise you everyone loves to bounce. It’s like you feel carefree. You feel like a child, you feel young, you feel weightless,” Raleigh added.

He says he has clients with injuries, those who are postpartum, those who are overweight improve their well-being only after a few rebound sessions.

Raleigh recently launched a new rebound studio, called bounty, at Bryantson, where he hopes this alternative form of exercise will change lives. He adds that his studio has seen people who haven’t done training in decades testify to the effectiveness of rebounding and he anticipates more members of the public will take it as awareness of the workout increases.

Raleigh goes so far as to explain that starting a fitness journey with rebounds is much less daunting for the individual than a traditional gym or other type of exercise.

“We don’t have a lot of mirrors in the studio. It was intentional, so that people could not see their own reflection. If you want to hide early so you get your feet and you get the coordination right, you can sit in the back, feeling like you’re private.
