The Pixel 7 series has already officially featured by Googlebut as the launch draws near, a new video is shown very Pixel 7 Pro brief unboxing.
Gadgetfull BD, retailer in Bangladesh, posted A quick video to Facebook today showing what appears to be retail packaging for the Pixel 7 Pro in black, unboxing the device to show the hardware again as well as hinting at what might be in the box.
Not to beat around the bush, this unboxing doesn’t tell us many about the Pixel 7 Pro we don’t know yet.
It’s the same black version of the phone we’ve seen in many previous leaks, though this time with an actual Google logo instead of a prototype indicator. There’s no comparison to other devices, but at first glance this quick look seems to support the theory that Google has walked back on the edge of the Pixel 6 Pro’s curved display on this device. The way the light bounces from the side in this video doesn’t look as distorted as it does on the Pixel 6 Pro. Hand-on and comparison of the previous Pixel 7 Pro The Pixel 6 Pro definitely makes it look like the newer device will have a less intense curve, but it’s hard to tell that from the leak itself.
As for the Pixel 7 Pro’s packaging, the unboxing experience appears to be largely the same as the Pixel 6 series. The box design is essentially identical, and inside is a Quick Switch Adapter and a USB-C to USB-C cable, but no sign of charging. Google is also still using paper to cover the display, in line with corporate sustainability goals.
At this point, there’s about a month left until the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are finally official, with October being Google’s usual schedule for new hardware. Simultaneously, Google also launched its first smartwatch, the Pixel Watch, along with the Pixel 7 as we recently reported.
