Metropolis officers tore up Texas’ Abbott after extra migrants arrived

A bus full of nearly 50 migrants arrived at the Big Apple from Texas Saturday amid anger over Governor Abbott’s ongoing plans to dump border crossers from Mexico and Central America in New York City.

Another bus load is expected at a later date, according to reports.

The latest arrivals are mostly young men and some women, now part of the 1,500 migrants sent to the city by the Texas governor to draw attention to the flood of migrants crossing daily from the southern border – a figure expected to surpass two million this fiscal year.

City officials have long been angered by the actions of Abbott, who also saw buses full of migrants being sent to Washington, DC

“He’s arming the asylum seekers,” Manuel Castro, the Commissioner for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, told Fox News. “It is disgraceful, and it is our moral obligation to condemn the use of humans for political purposes.”

City Comptroller Brad Lander called Abbott’s strategy “inhuman” and “disgusting.”

Migrants are placed in 14 Big Apple hotels because the city’s shelter system is overloaded amid a growing crisis on the southern border, The Post revealed Thursday.

“Texas fills the gap left in Biden’s absence at our border,” Abbott wrote on Twitter Saturday. “We have made over 19,000 arrests, seized over 335.5 million lethal doses of fentanyl, & shipped over 7,400 migrants by bus to DC and over 1,500 to NYC. While Biden ignored the crisis, Texas stepped forward.”
