A man dies while climbing Mount Washington, says New Hampshire Fish and Game official

A hiker died atop Mount Washington Thursday, according to New Hampshire Fish and Game. At around 3:40 p.m., a 46-year-old man from Quebec, Canada, was hiking with his adult son and fainted when he reached the top of the parking lot, officials said. State park staff and several nurses who also hiked tried CPR and even an AED, but the man was pronounced dead. The pedestrian’s name has not been released.

At around 3:40 p.m., a 46-year-old man from Quebec, Canada, was hiking with his adult son and collapsed when he reached the peak parking lot, officials said.

State park staff and several nurses who also hiked tried CPR and even an AED, but the man was pronounced dead.

The climber’s name has not been released.
